I have, along with most others I suspect, 14 updates waiting to be installed, or not. Any advise on these?
    Thanks once again.

I installed all August 2009 updates without experiencing any problems, so I'd go ahead and install them too. Windows will automatically create a system restore point, so if necessary (however unlikely) you can go back.

I installed them as well without a problem. And I am notorious for being well behind the curve with Windows updates (still running IE 6).

I skipped the February 2007 Cardspace update simply because I don't have any idea why I would need something over 2 years old as an update to an increasingly obsolete OS and after looking into what it's about, I just didn't like, or really understand, the concept or the need for it.

I've also never installed the Active Killbit update (KB973346) or IE7 or 8. Guess it's remnants of my '60s anti-establishment ideals.

Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
    Today it is called golf!

Thanks Bob !!! I don't remember if I was there or not. But wherever I was back then was better than where I'm at right now. I was 22 years old and healthy.

Happy Woodstock to you as well !!! We wilted flower children have to stick together.
