I doubt this can be done, but it would be pretty slick on one of my worksheets if it could.

Say I had a dollar/cents amount in cell A1. Is there a way to repeat ONLY the cents amount that is in A1 and have it show up in B1? Either by formatting or forumla?

    Thanks,
    BH

    In B1 enter:
    =A1-INT(A1)

Please note that Stans' solution results in a string result rather than a numeric result.

That will only work correctly as long as the number of cents does not end in 0, for RIGHT does not look at the number as displayed on screen but at the number as stored.

    For $12.30 you'd get .3 and for $12.00 you'd get 12.

Moreover, the result of RIGHT is a text string, not a number, so you can't use it directly in calculations.

So Mike Barron's formula, which returns a number, is better here.
