Thanks Hans for the quick reply. That helps me about 85/90%. My real goal was to seperate them entirely by a second inbox or sub inbox so she can handle all of her emails and not look for them in the co habitat inbox with mine. Your ideas was a great advancement from what I was using.
Make her an Windows account, and then move her stuff and email account settings to that account.
This way, her data will be under her control.
Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

If I chose to do this can she keep the same email address??? I check and she has her own account.

She has an account under Window Mail. My problem is all of my email and her emails all go together in the main inbox under Window Mail. I would like them seperated some how so we don't have to look through all the emails and pick he's or her's out to answer.

I think Dave meant to create her a "Profile" in Windows itself, not Windows Mail. Then by moving all her data, setting up a Windows Mail account in her profile and removing the account settings in your Windows Mail setup her mail will only go to her Inbox. HTH![]()

Glad you got things working.![]()
Were you using the same address book in the previous setup ?? I would assume that you were, but either way, you should be able to export your address book, perhaps directly to the new Windows Profile, or, failing that, exported to the Desktop, a CD or another partition or HD, and then imported into the new profile from within your wife's new profile's email account.
Take a look at the tutorials, here, here & here.

Thanks, Sound like that will work. In the past I have had some difficulty with doing such things as exporting/importing, but I'll give it a try.

I'd have thought the simplest way would be to create two folders, one for you and one for your wife; then create 2 message rules based on the account name to Move messages from the inbox to each.
To create the folders, right click on Local Folders and select New Folders...
To create the rules, go to Tools, Message Rules, Mail...
Hope this helps

I'm not sure how to share the addresses, but you can File | Export the contacts list to a CSV file from your account and import them into your wife's contact list.
