    Hello All,
When I decide that I do not want to install a particular Windows update, I still get notified again and again and again ...that the update is available. Is there any way to stop being notified of an update once I decide I don't want to install it?
    Thanks for any tips.

Use Internet Explorer to go to update.microsoft.com.
    Click Custom.
Wait until Microsoft Update has determined which updates are available.
Clear the check box for the update that you don't to install.
Then expand it (click the +)
Tick the check box "Don't show this update again".
Click "Review and install updates" (you don't have to continue after that, if you don't want to).

View the list of available updates. Then right click on the update and select "Hide update".

The procedure is slightly different with Vista and newer OSes. You don't use IE to access Windows/Microsoft udpate. You just run it from the Start menu, view available updates, right click the one you want to hide and select "Hide udpate".
