Hello, I have some webpages that I use on a local machine. One of them has a link like this:

<object data="main/sub/file.html" height="925" width="1140"></object>
From time to time I need to edit this code and change the file name. The link is buried inside the html file which is large. I wondered if there were an easy way to use a variable that I could put near the top of the document. As I write this I've just realised I could put a comment that I could search for so as to quickly jump to the right place so I guess this post falls into the category of idle curiosity, though using a variable would still be quicker than searching for a comment. Working on my local computer I don't have access to php and the like but javascript does work. Is it possible?
