I have been asked if there is a way to set the number of characters per line in a text/memo field.

I have a form field that gets job instructions put into it using 9 point

The job card prints as a report with the field printed in 12 point.

The 2 fields are different widths as well

They want the card to print exactly as it looks on the input form, rather than word wrapping at different locations.

    Is this possible?

It probably is possible, but the biggest variable is the font face - if you use the same font on both, and make the size the same, they will appear fairly similar. However if the space on the card is fixed, then you will have to size the form to look like the card, rather than vice versa.
