    Hello:

I have a HP Pavilion dv2000 running Vista Home Premium.

The laptop does have 2 internal microphone at the top of the screen frame.

Yet they won't work. There are some times when I would rather use the internal microphone as opposed to bringing along an external one.

How do I set them up?

    Thanks in Advance

You haven't said what you have done! On XP, I would go into Control Panel, double-click on Sound and Audio Devices, then the Audio tab and check whether the correct Sound Recording/Default Device is selected, and what its Volume is. Sorry that I don't have Vista to give you the precise way of doing this there...

Try looking at Control Panel > Sound, go to the Recording tab, select your microphone and look at it's properties.
