    hi everyone

i am attaching a file with an inconsistency in number representative of date, i am noticing.
i have the data as in column 1, and need it in (representative) numbers to further enter them in other equations.
please notice the difference in numbers betwee rows 12 & 13,
previous rows have (relative to subsequent or previous) a difference of 30, 31 or (february), 28 days.
i believe this anomaly must be anotjer "Y2K misdemeanour"
    any help?
    thanks in advance.

    Hi Daniel

The file you attached has no necessary relationship between columns A and B. The attached file has Column C the formula in C13 as "=VALUE(A13)" returning the appropriate number (36526).

thank you very much for your reply; as it enabled me to learn something new.
the way i had obtained the (numbers) i submitted, was by copying the adjacent cell but changing its format, insted of seen as date, to display as number.
i am realizing this was wrong.

    thanks again

    daniel rozenberg.
