Having a bit of a Senior's moment here...

In the Network and Sharing Center (Windows 7 RC) what does 'Connections:' refer to and how might I have named it as I have?

If I were to set up a peer-to-peer network with another PC running XP, would I have to set up a HomeGroup? There are no other W7 PCs

I think that is the current connection, as with Windows 7 and Vista, one can save "Connections" for quicker reconnect later.

See "Setup new connection or network".

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Thanks, Dave. As you suggest, I'll experiment a little more with it.
