    Good afternoon

I have the following formula and I would like to add 8% to the total, I am sure I used to be able to just add *8% and it would recognise it

    =IF(AND($D$10=D56,$D$14>1,$D$14<100),E56+$J$11+($D $14-1)*F56,0)

    TIA

    Try:
    =IF(AND($D$10=D56,$D$14>1,$D$14<100),(E56+$J$11+($D$14-1)*F56,0)*1.08)
    Regards

In addition to Don's answer you can also do it using a cell reference as well.

    1) Click into an empty cell A1
    2) Format cell to Percentage
    3) Type 8, it will display as 8%

then type in the following formula adapted from Don's

    =IF(AND($D$10=D56,$D$14>1,$D$14<100),(E56+$J$11+($ D$14-1)*F56,0)*(1+A1))

This will now allow you to change the percentage value dynamically if so required

Wow, thanks to both of you

I like your idea Jezza because it is a moveable feast as the transport companies change their fuel surcharges

    Thanks
