    VB6, Ado, Provider not found (VB6 sp5, officexp, w2000)

I made a vb6 frontend to my access mdb and packaged it with the wizard. I put the mdb on my network drive (each ado control has the path to the network drive) and used the setup.exe on an NT workstation. It all worked and updated my mdb on the network drive.

I then loaded on a W95 box and kept getting errors "Provider not found" for each of my ado controls. What is causing this error? Any help is appreciated. thanks

Win95 used short filenames by default. If your filenames or folder names are longer than 8 characters or contain spaces, that may be your problem on the Win95 box. In that case, you may need to tweak the ADO connections on that machine to use the short equivalent for the paths involved.
