I have a membership database with a field for email address. I want to add these addresses to my Outlook Address Book or Contact List. I know how to export to Word and Excel but not to OL. Is this possible?

In addition to John's reply, you can import an Access table into Outlook:
    - Close the Access database.
    - Start Outlook.
    - Select the folder into which you want to import (this is not essential, you can select it later too)
    - Select File | Import and Export...
    - Select "Import data from another program or file", then click Next >.
    - Select Microsoft Access, then click Next >.
    - Click Browse, locate and select the database, then click Open.
    - Select how to handle duplicates, then click Next >.
    - Select the folder to import into (the one that you selected earlier will be the default choice), then click Next >.
    - Select the table to be imported, then assign how to match the fields, by dragging a field from the list of Access fields to the corresponding field in the list of Outlook fields. You don't have to match all fields, only those you want to transfer.
    - Click OK when done, then Finish.

Thanks, Hans, for the detailed instructions. I tried a small test and it worked. Now comes the bigger problem. I want to import the data into a Contacts2 folder that is separate from my main Contacts folder. Then I want to set up a distribution list using the emails from Contacts2. How do I do that? Or is there an easier way to just set up a list from my imported data?

Go to the folder where you want to create the new distribution list.
Select File | New | Distribution list...
Provide a name, then click the "Select Members..." button.
Select Contacts2 from the "Show names from" dropdown.
You can easily select all contacts by clicking on the first one, then Shift+clicking on the last one.
Click "Members->" to add the contacts to your distribution list, then click OK.
    Finally, click "Save and Close".

Thanks, Hans. It worked like a charm, and much easier than I expected. I continue to be impressed by your knowledge of all things Office.
