I wish to simultaneously launch Word, Excel and Access and in addition open a text file with information to enter into these 3 MS-Office applications.

Can I do this by programming one specific Vista Function key to perform these multiple tasks ??

Thanks for any insight into this matter...

Why don't you use a batch file something like the attached?

Then leave a shortcut to it on your desktop and assign a Shortcut Key sequence to trigger it.

Ctrl+Alt+O (for Office) would do it.
