    Post

    replaced a new powersupply
    on whs computer now cant boot it up

    any thought

    Have you checked that you've reconnected all the connectors that you removed to take out the old power supply?

    If you still have problems after the checking the connectors again, what happens when you turn the machine on? Do the fans power up? Do the disk drives power up? Is this a home built WHS machine or an OEM? If OEM, what vendor?

    yes the drives fire up they warm, in bios the three hard drives show up.

    So, you have a monitor attached to the WHS machine.

    How far in the boot process does it get? Any messages?

    Can you boot into safe mode?

    hi joe
    yes i do now can get into the bios all three drives are there
    hit f 10 reboot black screen with cant boot install system disk reboot

    That indicates that the system is trying to boot from a disk but the disk it is using is not the disk with the operating system on it.

    Are you sure you have the disks connected in the correct order?

    What is the boot order in the BIOS?

    you are the man had cables wrong order could not boot. working now

    is there watt rating on PSU I have 4hds do you know what watt i meed need

    You need a lot more information than the number of disk drives.
