As part of my duties I get regular emails from the server. I don't always want to see them - but I don't want to delete them until I've handled them.
I'm trying to create a view or a search folder which will show me ALL mail in my inbox EXCEPT mail from the server.

But I don't think I can create an exclusionary filter.

Can someone please tell me I'm wrong.

In the Advanced tab of the Filter dialog, you can select From from the Field dropdown, select Does not contain from the Condition dropdown, and enter the e-mail address of the server in the Value box.

Another option would be to create a subfolder for server messages and to create a rule that moves messages from the server into that folder.
