This appears when I open windows xp.

EEventManagerApplication has encountered a problem and must close. (spelled exactly as it appears)

System Restore does not resolve the problem. When I tried system restore and then tried windows update I received an error code 403. When I undid the restore, windows update works.

EEventManager.exe belongs to the Epson Creativity Suite, but there's not a single mention of EEventManagerApplication in Google...

Thanks Hans!! I've got to learn to try google. I'll reload the epson printer and see if that fixes it.

Went crazy trying to look this up in MS Knowledge base.
