Hilarious! Now I feel justified in my long-time "procedure" of NEVER leaving the lid/door to the washer and dryer open. I've always been afraid my cat might get in and not be able to jump back out. In ten years of her life I've been lucky that she isn't a "toilet drinker!"

My 24lb cat (Squirrel) has been using the toilet since he was a year old.

It too took about two months to teach him the use of it.

He still does not know how to flush and I am glad of that. (Water bi$$)

Kind of odd when he is in the back yard, rather than run through the pet door to the toilet, he will still dig a small hole in the dirt to do his business.

    Smart animals, cats are.

You should see him jump rope with the twelve year-old girl that lives next door.

(Now if I can only get him to not only run to me when he hears the can opener, but for him to learn how to use it).

(I figure he's too smart for that and thats why he keeps me around).
