Hundreds of cells in a worksheet with the following (example-many different name combinations) "John - Doe" or "Mary - Smith". Is there an easy way to get rid of all of the excess spaces before and after the hyphen?
    Thanks in advance.

    Select Edit | Replace...
Enter " - " (without the quotes) in the Find what box.
Enter "-" (without the quotes) in the Replace with box.
    Click Replace All.
If necessary, repeat with " -" in the Find what box, and also with "- ".
