I have two networked PCs, both running Windows XP SP3. On one I have Norton Antivirus 2010 with a few weeks left on the current subscription. On the other I have Norton 360 with several months left to run and a licence for 3 PCs. My dilemma is this, do I renew the Norton Antivirus2010 subscription or do I change it to Norton 360? What are the relative merits, or shortcomings of the two programs?

I'm sure that 360 has a lot of additional features, not all of them security-related. Symantec probably has a handy feature comparison chart.

Here's a link to the comparison chart: Computer Security Systems.

Wait! Norton 360 version 4 is currently in Beta and should be released in first quarter 2010?
