    Hi

I am trying to copy a number of charts into a new workbook to be e mailed out to various people.

In the original workbook, the data is all held on the same page. When I need to print a chart (ie chart 1) I data sort to get in the bars in ascending order and print. I then data sort again on a different column to enable chart 2 to be in ascending order and then print.

I was hoping that by copying into a new workbook the bars in chart 1 would not change order when I data sort chart 2 in the original book, but my problem is that they do change despite them being in seperate workbooks.

I guess what I need is a paste special type function for the charts but when I try to do that, paste special is greyed out.

    Is anyone able to help

    Many thanks

    Sarah

Select the chart, hold the shift key and click Edit, Copy Picture.
    Then paste the picture.
