    Is it possible to have a pivot table formula to derive %s for each category's total for all categories. I am attaching a sample worksheet for illustrative purposes. The %was manually calculated

    I don't think so. You would have to rearrange it like the attached.

    You can do it by adding an extra column to the source data - see the attached version.
    The only downside is that the Grand Total of the percentage column is wrong.
