    Hi, when printing reports, fields with lots of data show up with a bunch of hashes on the printed page.

    Is there a foolproof way of telling Excel to space out the columns.

    When using the ‘Fit to 1 page’ option, I still get the hashes.

    You can select one or more columns (or even the entire sheet) and select Format | Column | AutoFit to make Excel fit the columns.

    Sometimes you have to widen columns slightly manually - Excel is not very [acronym="What You See Is What You Get"]WYSIWYG[/acronym].
