BitLocker to Go is a new Windows 7 feature allowing encryption on removable drives.

The BitLocker To Go Reader is an application that provides users read-only access to BitLocker-protected FAT-formatted drives on computers running Windows XP or Windows Vista.

Both 32 & 64 bit versions may be downloaded from Download details: BitLocker To Go Reader.

WARNING, do NOT use BitLocker until you have read up on it and understand how to use it. During Beta many Experts locked themselves out of their machines. Also when drives were rebuilt or files moved to a different machine with BitLocker turned on the locks were still in place. See http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...tures/bitlocker

I feel that in the "Home" computer, there is no place for BitLocker. By the way it comes only with Ultimate.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
