I have a column I wish to fill with a formula which exists in the top box (eg A1) by changing the formula to reflect the changes of each box in the column (eg if A1 is =L15*1.5 then b1 be =L16*1.5 etc.) without having to individually enter the formula in each box in the column.

    Welcome to the Lounge!

You can do it as follows:
    - Select cell A1.
    - Click on the little black square in the lower right corner of the cell (the "fill handle") and drag down as far as needed.

Another option is to select cell A1 and the cells below it that you want to fill.
Then select Edit | Fill | Down or press Ctrl+D.
