    Button emails a report with attachments. Because objItem is SEND, dialog box comes up with "a program is automatically trying to send email...." YES /NO /HELP. Is there a way around this message box to send email without answering YES?

    Partial Code behind button:
    .
    .

    Set objItem = objOutlook.CreateItem(0)
    objItem.To = elook
    objItem.Subject = "Backlog Scrub Report as Dated Two views available"
    objItem.Body = "Select Attachment type to open. "
    objItem.Attachments.Add "C:\backlog.snp"
    objItem.Attachments.Add "C:\backlog.rtf"
    objItem.send

    See Post 488173 for three ways to get around this. The free utility ClickYes is the easiest one to implement.

    Here is another option. You can put the code that sends the e-mail in your outlook and call it from Access. I'm using it in an access 2007 database and it works fine. You can get everything you need here
