Is there a way to reduce my word document for printing? It is on two pages and I want to reduce it down to 50% which would get it all on one page then print the single page. Previously I have had to print it full size then reduce it on the printer, cut and paste the hard copy onto one sheet then copy it.

I know it can be done in excel but not sure if if it can be done in word

    I am using word 2003
    TIA

    Welcome to the Lounge!

The File | Print... dialog lets you specify the number of pages per sheet:

It does put it on one page and makes it smaller but it prints it in two columns. The text I have on the second page needs to be right under the text of the first page as a continuation.

I'm not near a printer at the moment. What happens if you select 4 pages per sheet?

This involves an extra step, but... Could you go into Page Setup and create a custom paper size long enough to fit the text you want on one page. Then, print to PDF. Then, in Adobe Reader or Acrobat, use the feature that shrinks the print job to fit your output paper size.
