I was only saying to myself the other evening how good the Lounge was to navigate round, follow threads, see a list of topics etc compared to some other forums I visit and then....... while I can understand the need to make the running of the Lounge as easy as possible for all concerned (I applaud the effort the change over must have taken and the reasons) but I just have this sinking feeling when things in general get changed and I have to go out of my comfort zone and begin figuring out new ways to do things, I just feel I'm getting old. No doubt I will get used to the new layout here in time.

I was thinking the very same thing when I logged on for the first time this morning but it is funny how I initially disliked the previous version at first but soon adapted.

There are a few name changes and regrouping of some of the forums from what I can see but some were being very under used so maybe it is a good thing.

Agree. I reluctantly accepted the previous version when it changed but kind of grew to like it and felt comfortable there. No doubt the same will happen with this one in time. But this is the second time I've tried to reply the first one seems to have got lost....definitely an age thing

Oh my yes, what a change.... I'm in a muddle but I expect I'll find my way out of it eventually. I've enjoyed the Lounge for several years so I'm not about to let this new look stop me! But I do feel aged at the moment!
    Where's my That will help!

I agree. When I first logged on this morning I thought -wow - this looks nice. Then reality set in. Many of the usability features of the previous software are radically changed or gone completely. It's extremely difficult to distinguish a previously read thread from a new/updated one, threads in which I have participated are no longer identified as such, etc. Time will tell, I guess.

The last Lounge migration was a huge shock to my system, and it took me a lot of time to adapt, but I got there eventually. This upgrade seems like a more natural progression to me, and overall looks great. I'm sure the creases will all be ironed out over time

There are a lot things that did NOT come through in the conversion and the staff is working on getting them back.

I would keep listing things that you are missing as we all use things differently and my not see what is missing.

There are number post already at http://www.wopr.com/index.php?showforum=23 and I would make the above requests there. If you do not find one that relates to your missing item, then by all means make a new post.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
