    Vista Ultimate SP-2 (all updates)

Although I rarely use it, today I decided to use the "Send To > Mail Recipient" item in a Windows Explorer window. The "Mail Recipient" item is missing. The other default items are there, e.g., Compressed (zipped) Folder, Documents, Fax Recipient, DVD and CD drives, etc.

So, how do I get it back? I am using Outlook 2007 as my default e-mail client. What I have tried, using the Default Programs and Access utility, is to make Windows Mail the default e-mail client and then switching back to Outlook but that didn't work. There isn't much information about this issue using Google either.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hans,

    That was perfect...!!

Why that particular link didn't show up in my Google searches is a mystery to me. But thanks for providing it.

I entered restore send to mail recipient in the search box, and the link I posted was the first hit...

    Glad it worked!
