My biggest complaint with 64-bit Vista is that Palm doesn't have a 64-bit USB driver. Can XP mode in Windows 7 run in 32-bit mode or must it be 64-bit?

XP mode can be run on either 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7. Must Windows 7 Pro, Enterprise, or Ultimate. See Windows Virtual PC: Requirements for more details.

NOTE: Your PC MUST support hardware virtualization and have it enabled. This thread suggests that 32-bit XP mode will run within a Windows 7 64-bit environment, and this thread suggests that XP mode is actually 32-bit XP with Service Pack 3.

XP Mode for Windows 7 is 32-bit XP Pro SP-3 only. See http://www.microsoft.com/windows/vir...pport/faq.aspx.
