    I've created a PowerPoint add-in with a unique toolbar. I'd like the toolbar to be positioned to the right of the Formatting toolbar. The various positioning items don't seem to work: msoRowLast leaves the toolbar in the middle of the application area. Help says the toolbar is visible by default, but I'm finding it is hidden by default.

    The most important thing is that the toolbar not be floating. My preferred location is to the right of the Formatting toolbar.

    Thanks.

    Commandbars created interactively are visible by default, but commandbars created in code are hidden by default.

    You can use code like this:

    Dim cbr As CommandBar
    Set cbr = CommandBars.Add(Name:="MyBar", Position:=msoBarTop)
    cbr.RowIndex = CommandBars("Formatting").RowIndex
    cbr.Left = CommandBars("Formatting").Left + CommandBars("Formatting").Width
    cbr.Visible = True
