Is it possible to save a word 2003 .doc file to a works 9 file type, or is there any converter to allow for this.
Alternatively is it possible to save to an open office format.

I have a file I need to send to someone.
It has a lot of table layout on it, and needs to be converted to one of the two formats above.
Unfortunately, if it is saved as .rtf, then some of the formatting appears to get lost.

PDF is no use because it needs to be edited and then sent to someone.

At which point the issue may arise the other way round, saving a works doc to word format.

Check out OpenXML/ODF Translator Add-ins for Office.
