    I seem to remember some software that returned a PC to normal in a teaching environment. Students made changes and reset desktops, but this software reset the PC to normal on close down. Any one any ideas what this software is please?

    See if Windows SteadyState is what you where thinking about.

    It could also be "DeepFreeze" from http://www.faronics.com/html/deepfreeze.asp

    Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
