Off hand, I can think of a 9 letter word with only 1 vowel that ends in 5 consonants: strengths

    Excellent book to read.

The "yellow bar thing" was an method that we used to hide text in the "old" Lounge, the software was old and this was a very effective way to hide answers. You will have to use SPOILER in your replies

    Now as for your:

.......11 letter word.......only 3 vowels, last 5 are all consonants (Y is not in the word)

You have not stipulated which dictionary you are using so I have gone for the Dictionary of Anagrams and got

BTW In the Lounge you will always find that we can find an alternative "right" answer if you don't stipulate it in the question
