I have a report that includes a subform in the Report Header. The form is based on a query that has a parameter query in the date field (Between [Start Date] And [End Date].

Every time I run the report, I am asked to enter the start and end dates twice (start date parameter query then the end date parameter query, followed by the same thing again.)

I can click OK on the first set of parameter query requests without entering a date range, but I have to enter a date range for the second set of parameter query requests.

I can't figure out why I am being asked twice. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    JoeK

Instead of prompting the user for the start and end dates, I'd create a form with text boxes for the start and end dates, and replace the parameter prompts (e.g. [Enter start date]) with references to the text boxes (e.g. [Forms]![frmParam]![txtStartDate])

Works great. Much smoother and prettier than the parameter query.

    Thanks,
