All tasks in my task scheduler "Could not start" and when I double click on the task name of any task I get the error "General page initialization failed. The specific error is: 0x80090016: Key set does not exist. An error has occurred attempting to retreive task account information. You may continue editing the task object, but will be unable to change task account information." I have no idea what this means. What could cause all of the tasks to fail in this way? Thanks.

See XP scheduler fails with XP 0x80090016: Keyset does not exist : does, keyset, exist, 0x80090016. Note: at the experts-exchage site scroll down to the Solution section - do not click on "View the solution free for 30 days".

Did you have a password to start windows and then revert to having no password? That is one possible problem and solution.
