    I need to create a field validation for the following mix of single numbers and number ranges: 101-104, 202, 203, 205, 207, 211, 213, 302, 303, 305, 306, 307, 308, 309, 310, 401, 402, 403, 405, 406, 407, 501-505, 601-605, 710-719, 800-804, 811, 815, 820 846, 850, 861-865, 870-875, 885.


    Does anyone know an easy way to do this, please? Thanks

    A validation rule can use the "in" syntax like this
    Code:
    In (1,2,3,4,5)
    but with so many values I think this would be cumbersome, and also very difficult to maintain.

    I would put the allowable values into a lookup table, then do the data entry via a combo box using the lookup table, with the "limit to list" property set to yes
