    Hi all,

As just another noob here, I'm already seeing several replies per day that are merely suggestions that the OP has already confirmed, sometimes in the original post, to have tried and failed with. I really don't wish to get pedantic and boost my daily post count by pointing out what should have been obvious, it may be embarrassing for all concerned and just adds to the clutter that everyone has to wade through to get to the nuggets within.

We're all capable of skimming over relevant details, myself included, then rushing to compose a reply to what we think we've read - just push the chair back and re-read before hitting the Post button .

    Thanks for reading

For the inverse view, perhaps all (original) posters should read Daniel Petri's How to Ask A Question Microsoft article! There is an art to asking a good question, as he points out. And, of course, to providing a good answer...

And to typing it correctly the first time!

That's a useful article. It's a shame that although one of the things he advises against is typing in ALL CAPS, the page continues with Microsoft's "Community Solutions Content Disclaimer", and guess what? It's all in CAPS!*

Ah, Ian, just a demonstration that Microsoft doesn't always follow standards...
