System Backup Doesn't Recognize CD-RW

Hi All,

I didn't see this reported anywhere else. I Use the W2K Pro System Backup to backup all my .DLL files, registry, etc. Makes about 350 MB of data. I'd like to back this file up to my CD-RW but this drive is not recognized by the Systrm Backup program! (The CD-RW works fine in every other respect). I end up having to use three Zip drive cartridges. I mean I could do a work-around and have it write the BACKUP file to the hard disk THEN write it to CD-RW, but what gives? Any clues?

You found out the hard way as well... (so did I)

With your CD-RW you should have had software which does this. I use a Toshiba DVD/CD-RW and Instant BackUp. After a couple of false starts I think it worked, in that it wrote the files and they verified ok.
I'd look round for a freeware app that'll do the job you want.
