    By default, Word wants to save documents in My Documents. How do I change that so the SAVE AS dialog box saves in a different location (I want the default to be a network drive). Thanks

    From the Menu Bar click Tools/Options, then the File Locations tab.
    In the File Types window, click once on Documents to highlight it.
    Click Modify.
    Click the Down Arrow next to Look In, then double-click on My Network Places.
    From here, find the folder on the network computer you want to use as the default.
    Once you have it, click OK.
    This folder will now be the default Save and Save As folder.
