    Win XP, Office 2007

I have a workbook which is a collection of "buttons" with macros attached, a sort of touchscreen of frequently used macros, click on a button, macro launches.

Yesterday and today, for no reason I can see, I am getting this:

sheesh! I can't even paste in a screenshot of it! OK, Exclam. in yellow triangle, followed by "Cannot run the macro 'Personal.xls!mcrPARTEX'. The macro may not be available in this workbook or all macros may be disabled."

I have checked, all macros are enabled. Personal.xls is open & hidden and other macros will run. If I select the Developer tab and open the VBE I can run this macro.

I can't find any reason why nor how to get it back to working, like it was the day before yesterday.

    any ideas, please??

    Thanks,

WD- I'll have to get back to you tomorrow. I had to leave work and, frankly, I don't recall the security settings. I'm replying from home.

JB- Other macros do run, and, as I mentioned, if I open the VBE and run it, it works fine. And other macros do launch by clicking their respective "button."

Let's see, 5:45 pm now, I'll be back in the office in about 12 hours...(I love my job, I love my job...) Oh, California time.

    thanks,

I'd just rightclick the offending button and re-assign the macro to it.

Well, Mr. Pieterse, now we know why they pay you the big bucks!

I reassigned the macro and all is well, again.

    Thanks, all!
