    Hi

Please bear with me as I am totally green in this area

I have two PCs both running Windows 7 Home Premium, I set up a Homegroup on one PC but I can't see it on the other PC is this networking or are there other steps to take first.

I have a wirless router which gives both PCs access to the Internet, If I need to set up a home network first can someone point me in the direction for setting up a home network.

    Regards

    Braddy

There are several threads at Networking, e-mail, and getting online Forum concerning setting up and troubleshooting Homegroups.

    Hi Joe

I feel a bit of a fraud my AVG firewall was the problem, If I turn it off homegroup works fine, I turned on the MS firewall and it's still fine, but I prefer my AVG but I can't work out how to give Homegroup permission to get past the firewall.

    Thanks for the reply

    Regards

Download http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...teraction.docx for details on firewall settings for homegroups.
