I need to know the location of the files Windows live email client uses to save email messages in, in Windows 7

I have tried backing up C:\program files\windows live\mail\, but the email messages are not there when I restore this file after an Acronis O/S backup recovery.

Is there a way Windows live email client files can save messages directly to a different drive, or is there an email client that can import windows live files, that will allow the option to determine where to save the files to?

Thanks to all for your help

    James
