Whenever I type the first letters of an email address into Outlook, two email addresses come up. My automatic reflex is to press enter when they do, and it selects the wrong one every time. Can I program Outlook so that this first email address that comes up, which I never even email, is deleted from Outlook’s memory and so that only the second email will come up in subsequent emails?

Also, sometimes, when I get an email from somebody, I want to copy the email address and paste it into a document. However, rather than copy the email address, Outlook copies the name of the corresponding person. Can this be changed?

    Regards,

    JMT

When the list with suggested e-mail addresses pops up, use the up/down arrow keys to select the one you want to remove. Then press the Delete key to remove it from the list.

If you right-click the sender name and select Properties from the popup menu, you should see the e-mail address; you can copy and paste this.
