How can I apply @sum to a large number of cells and have those cells with text either ignored or treated as zeros? Currently if any of the cells contain text the sum comes out as #VALUE!

    Is this in Excel?

If you use a formula in Excel such as =SUM(A1:A100) or =SUM(A1,B3,C5,D7), text values will be ignored.

But in a formula such as =A1+B3+C5+D7, you'll get #VALUE if any of the contributing cells contains a text value.
