Very Destructive New Virus (Word97 SR2)

There is a very destructive virus making the rounds. Only about 4 hours old. Find out more about it at:

Sadly, it's yet another vulnerability for which a patch was out there, at <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS01-020.asp>http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/...in/MS01-020.asp</A>

If Symantec's site is jammed, you can get the details from Trend Micro at <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.antivirus.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?VName=TROJ_NIMDA.A>http://www.antivirus.com/vinfo/virusencycl...me=TROJ_NIMDA.A</A>.

My script to pre-set Outlook messages to maximum security, irrespective of the weakness-of-the-week in IE, is in <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/showthreaded.pl?Cat=&Board=out&Number=65453>this post</A>.

Thanks for posting the link for that script of yours. I gave it to our IS manager, and he was very interested in it--especially the IE registry keys.
