    notebook style

How can I make a new sheet in Word 2000 appear with notebook style lines on the pages? I'd like to type some notes so they appear to be written in a notebook. Follow-up, is it possible to do so to only part of a page, or do I have to do it to all pages?

    Robert,

I'd apply the formatting to a style, so you can turn it on or off.

Select Format, Style, New, type in the name Notebook. Then Format, Border, select the second line style, and a colour of light blue. Apply it to the bottom line of the box only.
    Click OK, and Apply.

Wherver you want to apply the style, highlight the lines, and select the style Notebook.
