Removing Windows 7 Parental control

I created a temporary user account for my grand daughter, with all the appropriate controls (she is 12) After her visit I cancelled the account, but am now
plagued with Parental conntrol "Nags" at startup. I cannot neutralise this awful balloon.....help

Does How to disable Windows Parental Controls reminder - The Winhelponline Blog help?

I tried the winonhelp article, however if you try to follow the instructionsyou will find it lists a trail that doesn't exist.
It doesn't work with windows 7 home basic anyway
