    Missing Printers on Printer List (Excel 2000 SR1)

    When I go to print my document, and the Print panel pops up, it shows blank in the "Name" box. If I select the scroll arrow for the box, only one of my installed printers (not my usually selected default printer) shows up.

    If I click "OK" to print, things then print OK to my default printer.

    My other Office programs show all my installed printers when I print from them. Excel was fine too, until a few weeks back - and maybe the problem is associated with an upgrade from Win98 to WinME.

    I also tried adding a new printer, but that doesn't show up in Excel either. I also tried "Detect and Repair" from the "Help" menu, but that didn't fix things either.

    Does sound a lot like the problem described <A target="_blank" HREF=http://support.microsoft.com/directory/article.asp?ID=KB;EN-US;Q211391>here</A>.

    And going from 98 to ME is more like a downgrade than an upgrade.
