Solved or Thanks

Ok here we go,I have been a member for two hours not enough time to se all,can I just ask a small question,I have been to many threads or posts "here" and can not se many member thank yous when they've been giving a solution to there problem,could there not be a icon in the thread saying something like problem solved or thanks,so other members can se its worked.

So shoot me down in flames if ive missed something,site looks good well done..

Welcome to the Lounge.

It's true that not all "give credit where credit is due" or a "thank you" or give some feedback on the replies, but it is encouraged to do so, see Rule 7, Post a single "thank you" for help received. That's an excellent opportunity to give some feedback, sometimes there are several suggested solutions. As I said in some post/thread in the link below: Since the Lounge has been around for a long time, there is a lot of knowledge gathered here. Part of that knowledge is due to the feedback that is received when someone has solved a problem.

For whatever it's worth Tony, here's a clip from a forum site I occasionally participate in where the OP can mark a thread "solved." This one happens to run on something called vBulletin which I know nothing about.
