Add to Favourites in IE8

Under IE7 Adding a Favourite always remembered the last folder you saved to in the session so it was easy to research a topic and keep adding links about it.

After IE8 installed it never remembered the last folder and you have to search for it to add each time. (strangely it does remember the last folder when GOING to favourites).

Is there a setting to get it to remember the last added folder?

This is a known issue but Microsoft have not done anything about it.
